Hakka Eco-farm 雅歌園民宿食農教育有機農場

Quiet place in the middle of nowhere, large space with grown fruit and vegetables and a few animals.

(long list of things that could be better but it wasn't super.bad either). The room wasn't spotless clean (there were a few hair on the floor). The buildings are still under construction and that's what it looks like when you arrive, a building on construction, not so much a fully built hotel. And maybe it's a European culture thing, but they don't tell you what they grow there, if any of it is in your breakfast. They sell honey that looks amazing but you also don't get to taste any of it. Staff was super nice but at the same time, the smiling lady who came to prepare our breakfast, also started doing the dishes and re-arranging all the plates and bowls in drawers, just when we were having breakfast. It's supposed to be a quiet place and we were the only guests, but it was not pleasant to have all this noise during our breakfast. And lastly, but that's all over Taiwan, the blinds don't block any natural light, so at 6am there was a lot of light in the room which makes it really hard to sleep. I think with a very slight effort this place could be much better.

The staff is very caring and engaged. But it felt a bit disorganized at times. Very quiet out in the countryside, so a good place to find some calm. But you need to be motorized.
