Hampden Apartments - The Richard

Accommodation was fantastic, spacious, spotless, all mod cons, fabulous location, lovely views, everything we needed for a trip to Windsor.

Great location within walking distance to the town centre .

No proper towel rail in the master en-suite or anywhere to hang your clothes . The pillows did not fill the pillowcases properly . No dressing table . Very basic furnishings. The apt could be so much better with a few added touches like nespresso coffee machine and pods, luxury toiletries , fresh bottled water or even a bunch of fresh flowers .

We stayed at the Richard for a 2 day trip ,only really used it as a base . Nice apartment, very quiet ,in a great location & not far from Windsor town centre.plenty of bars & restaurants nearby. We only slept & showered here & had a morning cuppa so didn"t use any of the other facilities but had mugs ,glasses ,cutlery etc

Parking was a bonus, however quite a tight space & had to park over a very bumpy driveway ,the roots from a tree have knocked up some of the paving ,making it difficult to manoeuvre the car ,car did get covered in quite a bit of mess . That being said it was a secure parking space ,2 minutes from the apartment.

Beautiful apartment in an excellent location

If the windows are open the noise from incoming planes to Heathrow is very loud - although Windsor itself is directly under the flight path so this is probably true of most places.

Apartment was lovely. Location was fantastic. Host was very helpful and left us milk in the fridge.

Our car was absolutely covered with bird poo on our return

Fantastic location 20 minutes walk to centre of Windsor. Lots of local shops bars and restaurants nearby. The apartment was lovely and spacious, well thought out and very modern and minimalistic. The apartment is far enough away from the main streets so the area was very quiet. The other residents were very quiet too. Lovely base for Windsor and London. Fantastic communications.

Updated: Was some items that were in the apartment itinerary that were not there. UPDATED: But had feedback from the owners who told us where they were had we contacted them. The only parking spot that we were able to use was right under a tree and the car was totally covered in bird muck and other stuff. The car had to go through a car wash twice to get all the muck off. They should have stated that this could happen and give you the option to bring a cover. Updated: they are going to rectify this now, and offered a refund for this.
