Fantastic location, beautiful surroundings and a lively area. The flat itself is beautiful once you arrive, we came in the evening and it was a huge surprise. The layout is fun and the styling gorgeous. It's nice to have 2 bathrooms and the kitchen is inspiring. We loved the look of it all. We really appreciated the Port wine bottle on the house, that was very kind of the hosts.

We did however find out that the windows on the "2nd floor" are hard to open, even dangerous as you have to climb them. And the lack of fresh air was very difficult for us during the night as the heat rises to the 2nd floor. We were warned of mosquitoes so we did not feel comfortable leaving the lower floor door open. It would also be a dream entrance for a burglar. So we did not sleep very well aaand on top of that, the couple above us were quite active and we. Heard. Every. Breath. 😂 The nights were eventful to say the least. So great place in terms of location but sleeping was almost impossible. Which was the most important thing sadly... I wanted to love our stay and I hope some changes will be made to make it more pleasant in the summer particularly.

Klein, aber schön eingerichtet. Lage sehr zentral, wenn man im Touristen Epicenter sein möchte.

Vor allem die Lautstärke war Horror. Da wir uns einfach nur auf die guten Bewertungen verlassen haben, haben wir vollkommen überlesen, dass es keine Klimaanlage gibt, was in Porto im Hochsommer ein absolutes No-Go ist. Daher mussten wir mit Fenster auf schlafen, was auf Grund der Gastronomie unten im Haus und in der Umgebung furchtbar war. Zudem ist das Bett für zwei Erwachsene sehr klein und sehr ungemütlich. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich, aber fast schon ein bisschen nervig, so viele Nachrichten, wie ich schon vor dem Aufenthalt bekommen habe. Bei der einen Frage nach der Parksituation wurde uns aber nicht wirklich geholfen. FYI man kann ohne Problem Sonntags und an den anderen Tagen nachts auf der Straße parken, dann kann man sich die wahnsinnig überteuerte Parkplatz Empfehlung der Vermieter sparen.

Location was great, the hosts had very good communication and the apartment itself had everything we needed and had very clear check in and check out instructions.

No elevator and on the third floor. No A/C but they provided a fan.

This apartment is excellent, I didn't have the pleasure of meeting the owners but they were super attentive for all of our potential needs from the moment I booked it until I left, we felt looked after. The room had almost everything we needed and we felt at home right away as it is well decorated and feels secure. The check in and out instructions were clear and easy to follow and all of the main areas of the town are just a short walk away (beware of the cobbled hills everywhere). I would absolutely stay here again! 👍🏻

Really not much to say here, the couch could have been more comfortable, the view is slightly obscured by neighbouring buildings and we needed a sangria jug but that is being picky!
