BlueStays Hostel

Absolutely loved my stay at BlueStays Hostel! Right opposite Sant Sewa Ashram in Laxman Jhula, the location is unbeatable ,literally steps from the Ganga Ghaat, perfect for morning dips, evening aartis, or just chilling by the Ganga. The staff and owner are super friendly, helpful, and genuinely caring. They made me feel like family from day one. Always ready with recommendations for cafes, yoga classes, or rafting, and quick to sort out anything you need. Rooms were clean and comfortable (I stayed in a dorm), bedsheets fresh, hot water reliable, and free Wi-Fi worked well for work. For the price, it’s fantastic value budget-friendly without feeling cheap. If you’re coming to Rishikesh for adventure, spirituality, or just to relax by the Ganga, this is the place to stay. During my stay there were several serious issues that significantly affected the quality of the accommodation. For multiple days there was no running water, which meant I could not shower or even wash my face or brush my teeth at times. Additionally, the Wi-Fi advertised on the listing was not working. During the first days I was also placed in a room with cockroaches, which made the conditions very uncomfortable.

Hygiene and room was not bed was not clean.

I liked that the washroom and room was clean

The bedsheets and pillow case and conforter etc were not clean, they were used.

Room was dirty and the wood in the rooms was full of pesticides and when asked the staff they told it’s under renovation and we are not giving for anyone the same day on check out they gave it to another couple and lied with us and the bathroom we don’t get water taking in second floor we have to go to downstairs for taking bath having an infant with us it was horrible in the room

The place was decent and in a good location. Was travelling Solo fot the first time so had a lot of apprehensions in my mind, but the place was comfortable and also pretty safe for a woman solo traveller. The staff, specially the manager Akash, was a very pleasant man and was very helpful too. There were regular cleanings also and the washrooms were also neat and clean.

The place does need a little more structural changes but is overall safe and comfortable.
