B & B Le Nomade

In comparison to what is available in Ouagadougou for the price this place was quite nice. It quaint, for the most part clean, and the staff were very nice and professional however, it didn't meet up to what it advertised. For example, I booked the,large room that listed that it came with a TV and it didn't. The room had a bed, decent AC, a bathroom and a kids that had storage for your clothes. There was no iron (I had to pay extra to have my clothes ironed), the breakfast consisted of bread, fruit juice, fruit and tea; water and coffee are an extra charge. If you want eggs is an extra charge, also. They don't provide an iron in the room, or tea, coffee, sugar, a kettle and water as most hotels provide for the guest. It would be a simple gesture that would make the guest stay more comfortable. However, when I mentioned this to a staff member she gave me a cup and a kettle. As I said overall it's a very nice homey , safe place to stay, however, cleaning the room didn't happen until I requested it on the 7th day of my stay. Also, please be aware that everything must be paid in cash! Unfortunately, I didn't know this and the owner had to make a secondary arrangement for me to pay. As I said, tge staff and even the owner of the property was very nice, they just need to provide a little more.

The room didn't have an iron, television, water, tea، coffee, cups, or a kettle. You had to pay extra for everything such as, coffee, water or eggs with the breakfast.

Air con wasn’t great, but having the ceiling fan helped. Breakfast is just a baguette, banana, juice and then coffee/hot chocolate. You have to pay extra for an omelette.

Garden and terrace are like a little oasis, excellent breakfast under the palmtrees with birds singing. The local bread is delicious and coffee was good, they have real espresso. The pool is a life saver in this heat, and the outside area is very calm and perfect for relaxing. There are gread food options that can be ordered from the B&B - try the brochette de capitaine (fish skewer)! Some restaurants are within walking distance, e.g. Paillote du Bois (local dishes). The staff was wonderful and left nothing to be desired.

Breakfast was excellent, particularly the local bread. The location was very quiet, to reach the main road to take a bus, it takes 5 minutes, which was convenient for me.
