Casa Biulú

Un buen espacio para hospedarse aunque en época de lluvias puede ser difícil el camino.

We liked that Casa Biulu offered air conditioning, breakfast (the fruit was extremely unripe though), and that the staff was helpful.

We were really excited to use the pool since you can’t swim in the ocean at Zipolite, but the pool had a lot of insects and dirt in it. Also, the chairs at the pool are all ripped or broken. The shower in the room sprayed everywhere and made it difficult to take a comfortable shower. The hammock at our room broke while my partner was laying in it.

Casa Biulu has a perfect location with one of the most outstanding views in town. The architecture is lovely, and the fact of being a eco friendly hotel makes it even more interesting, we really loved our stay.

Extremley rough road uphill to the property

The staff was helpful, friendly, and accommodating. The breakfast was good and consistent. The pool was clean with great views. The room was comfortable and larger than expected. Easy walk down to the beach and center of town.

My stay was fantastic.

I loved the pool and service. The only problem is the road to the hotel. It was very difficult to drive up the hill. Overall, nice hotel.

The property is very nice, you can't beat the view and the pool. Most rooms have private entrances, room was large, AC worked fine, shower was fine. Special thanks to Lucia - we felt welcomed and she along with her team was always there should anything go wrong (it didn't).

The view comes for a price - property is located on the steep hill, you need to take an unpaved road/path which is quite hard to walk and I imagine would be even quite hard to drive safely. Not that big of a problem if you're fit enough, however we had to plan everything in advance as the option just to drop by to your hotel for a minute is not really an option here.
