The Orangery Apartment

What an Amazing Apartment, with such Excellent hosts. All very clean & comfortable, with everything needed for a good couple of nights or longer. We enjoyed the 'singing' shower. Lovely area to.

Lovely place to stay just outside Bristol. The orangery is part of a very interesting building. To go into Bristol for the day it's easy to use a taxi, costs about £20 for a return journey. Local pubs are available, one is very close, however like some of the attractions in Bristol itself they may be closed on a Sunday and Monday. Very enjoyable trip and extremely comfortable bed.

Great stay for two nights, very friendly and great service.

This was a lovely old building. I was greeted and then shown around the property to where everything was and also tips on takeaways and the pub which is of course always good to know. The apartment was very clean and the bed was very comfy. Only two downsides was that the wifi wasnt brilliant, struggled to stream the likes of Netflix, and the shower was very noisy, seemed to be a buzzing a lot from the pipes once turned on.

The owner meet me when i arrive and he is really nice and friendly, he showed me around and explained everything I need to know and also told me about the history of the building. The apartment is very well furnished with everything you need for your stay and the furnishing are in keeping with the age of the property The apartment is very clean and tidy and i would say very Covid-19 secure I will be returning when i am next in Bristol for business or pleasure

Spotlessly clean, and well equipped kitchen. Tea, milk, coffee and little treat were welcome touches. Characterful and quirky, access to the orangery was nice, and would be perfect in the spring and summer for pre dinner drinks or sitting quietly with a book. (We went in damp cold October, so we didnt fulfil that ambition!). Lovely and quiet, and perfect location for visiting surrounding area. Nick our host was very helpful and interesting about the history, Ive dropped a couple of points, for the following reasons, but they didnt really bother us, so Ive probably been a bit harsh, and I dont mean to be, we really liked it here... 1. The shower has a very loud pump which grinds away while you're having your shower. Shower pressure is a little low, so great if you're an eco showerer, not so great if you want a waterfall! 2. Wallpaper peeling in one place in bedroom - bit of pritt stick would fix this quickly. 3. Storage heaters and plenty of electric radiators meant that the house was nice and warm, but if like us, you didnt want to keep them on all the time, you might want to take your slippers to keep your feet warm. That's it. Stay here if you get the chance, you wont regret it. Thank you Nick for sharing with us.

Lovely, well maintained apartment, which was well kiited out. The owners were very welcoming. The only very minor downside was, being part of a vey old and historic property, the unit was quite chilly, even when the temperature outside was in the high 20s C. But there were plug in heaters in every room. And sitting in the flower filled orangery just outside the flat was very pleasant after a days sightseeing.
