We liked that breakfast was available every morning - Waffle station, bread, bagels, cereal, oatmeal, fruit cups, yogurt, coffee, tea. Each night there was a hot water station with tea and hot cocoa. We could see the ocean from our balcony. We also liked the location of the hotel (quick walk to stores/shops, restaurants, and the beach) and our room was very clean. Very comfortable hotel.

The breakfast items weren't labeled. As a vegetarian it was difficult to know what was in each food and there were no vegetables at breakfast. There were no labels for Vegan or Gluten Free options. Some of the front desk staff were friendly and greeted us and other staff ignored us when we would come in.

"Recently renovated, Clean, Good Location"

The hotel is located a little over a half a mile from the Strand. It is located on the PCH across from a nice supermarket, habit burger, and a cvs shopping center. It is a pretty easy walk downhill but coming back from the Strand can be tiring if you are not in shape. We have a double queen room with the room facing the side. We heard some road noise but we were able to sleep easy through the night. Light sleepers may want to speak to hotel staff about the best room. They do have suites with an ocean view. The room was clean and looked recently renovated. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. There is parking available. If going to the beach and walking, get chairs and an umbrella by the beach.

"The best hotel and area I had as a first time visitor to LA."

Room is always clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is delicious, bur lacks a bit of variety. I would prefer potatoes to be served daily. The area around provides various eating and shopping options, walking distance to the beach.
