"A fantastic hotel for large events"

There were definitely a few snafus along the way, but successful events are not about everything going perfectly. They are about working with partners who are gracious, responsive, and willing to pivot quickly when things change. This was not my first large event at Hotel Valencia Riverwalk, and once again their team proved why I continue to return. From the initial planning calls to Sunday evening’s dinner service, their staff was professional, accommodating, and solution-oriented. They helped turn a complicated planning process into a successful and enjoyable evening for our attendees. A special thank you to Wendy Saurette, Sr. Sales Manager, Edna Lorraine Estrada , Catering Sales Manager for getting this event up off the ground. To Gregg Carlson, Banquet Manager and master at pivoting, Sergio Cruz, the masterful bartender, and Jaime Serrano, Banquet staff. This team kept the evening running smoothly. Your professionalism, flexibility, and hospitality truly made the evening a success.

"This is a really beautiful hotel in a perfect location."

The room was beautiful, very large. Bed was super comfortable. The location is as perfect as it gets if you want to explore San Antonio. TV was very accessible for sports and movies.

There is no spa, pool or business center. Also, the shower/bath was pretty slick and had no grab bars or anti-slip mats. I had to ask for one.

"Way to take care of Warriors!"

This has to be one of the most customer focused establishment I have been a patron of in years. Jaime and Sergio were amazing with the care and attention that they showed our group. Every meal was outstanding and I have not seen a hotel cook beef so well.
