We had a wonderful first two days in Jordan and stayed at Nomads Hotel in Petra. Getting there from the airport was easy, and there is parking right in front of the hotel. The hotel is designed to reflect Petra’s style, which we noticed in the evening – a very positive touch. The staff are exceptionally friendly, whether at the reception, the bar, or during breakfast. We arrived in the late afternoon and booked an Iftar dinner for 12 Jordanian Dinar. It was a fantastic experience: more food than we could eat, giving us a nice introduction to the local culture. The meal was served in the rooftop bar, beautifully styled like a Bedouin tent, with a terrace offering a great view of the Visitor Center and Petra beyond. Breakfast the next morning was delicious, plentiful, and varied. The location is excellent: Petra is only about a ten-minute walk away – quick downhill, and of course uphill on the way back, but very manageable. The rooms are simple but functional, offering everything you need at a great price. Overall, fantastic value for money. If we return to Petra, we would very likely stay here again.

Love the location of the hotel and the view is beautiful, you get to see the mountains of Petra, beautiful sunsets, very quiet hotel too, rooms are great, I got the best view. Modern rooms, clean, good hot water although runs slow but not major issue. But I wanted to mentioned the dinner(extra oay) but is DELICIOUS the chef lady cooks with her heart :-) my friends and I were gagging about how great that dinner was, like mom did it for us, worth it!!! She is so sweet and friendly as well. Check in was smooth and easy, the elevator doesn't work so if you carry big luggage hopefully you get to use the elevator, I got helped by the reception guy to floor 3 :)... Rooms are very clean, well take care of, lobby is cool to hangout with your friends, read books etc. The terrace area is very nice set, amazing views and they play some cool novies at night, but you can't bring anything from outside to drink etc, bummer!!! But overall the hotel is a must for price with delicious breakfast included.
