Gite Kasbah La Palmeraie

Nice and comfortable house, quiet familiar ambient and great food, the room is cozy and the place is peaceful. The only thing that let us down was the city of Skoura, nothing very interesting, but if you pass by you definitely need to stay here, best value for money in the area

Die Familie hat sich für das Frühstück und das Abendessen besonders Mühe gegeben. Frisches Obst und Gemüse wurde aus dem eigenen Garten geerntet. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen und wohl gefühlt. Die Kasbah war sehr familiär und der Gastgeber hat uns am nächsten Tag Angeboten die Umgebung gemeinsam zu erkunden, leider hatten wir einen strengen Zeitplan und konnten nicht länger bleiben. Wir würden auf jeden Fall erneut die Kasbah besuchen.

We stayed at Kasbah La Palmeraie and found it to be basic but well worth it for the low price. The food was excellent – fresh, delicious, and locally sourced. The rooftop terrace was a perfect spot to relax and take in the stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The host truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even arranging a donkey ride for us, which was such a fun and memorable experience. A lovely and authentic stay in Morocco!

Staying in a traditional kasbah was interesting — a spacious area with carpets, where we ate the best homemade food of our 10-day journey through Morocco. The breakfast was also excellent, with food grown and prepared locally, which we ate on a pleasant terrace. If you want to enjoy an authentic Moroccan experience of staying in a traditional kasbah and savoring food in the Skoura oasis, this is an excellent choice.

Small rooms and a bathroom.

I liked the atmosphere of this accommodation very much and how homely it felt. There were beautiful views of the palmerie from the terrace and the garden was very nice and peaceful. We also had a dinner which was absolutely delicious and for a reasonable price. The host and his family were so nice and made us feel welcome!

We stayed for 3 nights. It has a lot of options where to seat or enjoy the sun. It has very beautiful garden, and backyard with palm trees. Every morning we had a decent breakfast. Also we ordered dinner from the host. Everything was very delicious, 3 dinners - 3 different meals. Muhammad was very hospitable, and if we needed something he was there to help. Clean and spacious room. From the terrace you can see a beautiful snowy mountains. If you travel without the car, please allocate more time to get the by private or shared taxi (20 MAD per person for shared from Ourzazate to Skoura)

We had a wonderful, relaxing 3 night stay here. Mohammed, the owner took us on very interesting tours of the palmeraie and Kasbah Amridil. He also suggested other places for us to visit nearby. The room was quite basic but we slept very well and we loved the roof terrace outside the room. The food was lovely. We had dinner by the open fire and breakfast in the beautiful garden. Definitely recommend!
