"Good Location, But Pricey"

The AmericInn is in a good location at the edge of town. It’s walkable to restaurants and shopping and a very short drive to Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Due to the scarcity of hotels in Medora, room availability is limited and room rates are high. We booked a premiere room with a king bed and hot tub, just because that’s what was available. We did not use the hot tub. The room had a microwave, refrigerator, sofa and desk. The hair dryer had to be checked out at the front desk. The room was spacious, but dated. The complimentary breakfast was adequate, nothing special. There was no cooked hot cereal, but packets of oatmeal were available. There was ample parking and it was free, though it was dusty (like the town). Book the AmericInn if you’re looking for a good location.

This is very close to TRNP South area entrance. There we saw the wild horses, bison herds, and prairie dogs multiple times along the loop. It's also only a minute or 2 from restaurants.

Ok hotel. A/C is a little smelly. Room was very clean. No hair dryer in room - must call front desk. Housekeeping on 3rd day. Breakfast typical. Friendly. Nice lobby. Indoor pool.
