We chose this hotel for the convenience and knew we were paying a LOT more than we could have. However, our expectations were not more than they should have been. The hotel and our room were clean but we were shocked to find we did not have any where to hang our clothes! Not a small closet or even any type of rack with a few hangers. For $300 a night that should have been a given. The breakfast was meh, with watery eggs, sausage links, biscuits and gravy, cereal, etc. It did have a self serve pancake maker but sadly no waffle maker. The clerk who checked us in was in need of friendly/helpfulness training. On the positive side, it was very convenient to the park, musical, and walkable to Medora's small downtown attractions, gift stores, and restaurants.

Shower was broken and no one could shower after a long day of traveling and the pool was closed.

The checking was a breeze and the staff outstanding. The helped carry our luggage up to the 2nd floor. We loved the layout of the room.

This place was awful. I dont mind spending $300 per night if I’m getting value for my money. We arrived to find wed paid top dollar to be in a construction zone. Before we get to staff, let’s talk about the facility. There is no closet and there are no hooks to hang clothes on. They furniture was beat up and badly scratched. For $300 a night id expect at least some glasses vin the room. Nope! Only cardboard that was never replenished. No curtains on the windows. That might have been ok when i was 20, but not today. Undressing in front of the parking lot is not my deal. I’m used to these kinds of breakfasts, but i really wish the eggs hadn’t been made 3 days ago ( I’m guessing). Finally, I’m a retired judge, i dont need a lecture from staff as to what should and should not be done. Especially when his advice is dead wrong.

I reserved this room online because of reading Tripadvisor but I would not stay here. It was over $300 a night and our room had no curtains, no place to hang clothes ,no headboards, no pool or hot tub so if we wanted to get light, we had to open our window blind and everybody could look in from the parking lot. We came back on the third day after traveling to the state parks. We found our room in the same condition as we left it. There were no beds made, no clean towels. No one had come in. I inquired at the front desk only to find out that there is a clause that says they don’t have to clean your room if you stay several nights, but I pay the whole amount $300 a night . No one gave me a discount because they didn’t come in. It says on the paper you sign that “this hotel has limited stay over services “ My recommendation is to cross that out and initial it if you stay for three nights or more. The person at the front desk was not very nice. He would not even give me a copy of what I had signed. They said they couldn’t print it, but I suggested they take a picture of it with my camera and they wouldn’t do that either. My suggestion find someplace else it’s a lot of money for what you get. Another thing, my husband is a disabled veteran and trip advisor said that it was veteran owned, but they did not give a military discount. Not even supporting your own !!!
