Lovely location. Easy to find. Quiet, but close to the main part of town. Beautiful walks along river. Croissants in the morning were a bonus.

The car parking charges were extortionate for residents.

Convenient location and parking for 24 hours (even after checkout). Room on the 3rd floor was quiet. Room had everything we needed and more.

Limited way of cleaning our toilet (no brush provided). Limited airing of the room and the air conditioning got noisy (kept beeping). Limited breakfast options.

“Everything was perfect. The reception staff were fantastic.Kind, friendly, and very helpful. To my surprise, I was upgraded at check-in without even asking. In fact, every member of staff I came across was lovely. The hotel is in a quiet location, yet still very close to the city centre. I could list many more things I was happy with, but to sum it up in one word: everything. If I visit York again, I won’t need to look for another hotel – there’s no question I’ll be coming back here.

The location was very good. A short walk into the City centre. The room was lovely. We paid for a river view room. All we could see was the trees in front of the river, hardly any river view?

The mattress in our room was hard. We both woke up in the mornings (with a poor sleep) both having bad back pains from the mattress. No toilet brush next to the toilet. Why can't we put any furniture on the balcony when were outside?? My misses sat on the floor out on the balcony. The breakfast (coussants) were adequate but then I had to pay extra for butter, jam and Nutella etc? Surely the extra bits with the coussants should be free??
