Diani Sea Lodge - All Inclusive

There is great beach and outside experience with activities / entertainments on beach and evening events. Beach is great and very nice, probably best thing in hotel. Staff is helpful and supportive.

Hotel is focused on old people from Europe. Food offer is very European and you do not feel you are in Kenya. I am sure that more variety can be added so everyone will find balance between new taste and experience compare to “traditional European” food.

Abgewohnte Anlage. Schlechtes Essen - keine Qualität, kein Seafood. Die Familienzimmer haben im zweiten Zimmer keine Klimaanlage. Mit Ventilator bleiben es trotzdem +28 Grad. Bad und Ankleide werden auch nicht kühl. Datenschutzverstoß im Restaurant und Bar. Die Art und Menge der Drinks werden mittels Zimmernummer erfasst, bei All-Inclusive.. Das Personal erfasst diese mittels PC - den Monitor kann jeder einsehen. Wir haben das Management drauf hingewiesen - es soll abgeschafft werden.

The beach and pool area was clean, pool bar was close. Overall look of the hotel is nice. All inclusive drinks were okay, but they did run out often of choices. Rooms are okay, but some are located very far out.

Hotel says no beach chair reservations are allowed, but they don't do anything to enforce this. By breakfast time, all good seats with umbrella or shadow are taken with towels and no people to be seen. 90% of the guests are from Germany, and staff is automatically talking to you in German. Food is okay, but if you don't want to run to buffet with all others immediately, good choices did run out. Not agreeing to late check out, even checked prior. They didn't allow tuktuks to drive close to reception, so always had to walk far if didn't want to use expensive taxis.

Clean pool area, friendly staff, good price

Gym needs an upgrade and some of the maintenance around the property is not great (sharp tiles and concrete areas)

- spacious room cleaned everyday, very comfortable beds - very friendly and helpful staff - I think one of the best we've ever encountered - tasty food, big variety of choices - security - shops with souvenirs inside with reasonable prices - enough sunbeds for all guest, placed in a beautiful garden - beautiful beach

Maybe not a dislike but something to be mindful of: - The ocean is not clean, there are loads of weeds which sometimes are not comfortable for swimming (also because of the ocean tides at some point in the day it was impossible to get in) - dinner time is 7-9 pm but usually around 8 pm there was not much food left, so a bit inconvenient for someone who wants to dine later

Architecture very pleasing Open and breezy Pool very large View of sea from room was wonderful and we were upgraded Pavements to take you to all places well maintained. Tennis court was fabulous

Beachfront area is very nice and comfortable. Food variety is good and staff are very pleasant.

Room is quite dated and floors did not seem properly cleaned.
