Hampton by Hilton Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach

I’m writing this review as I sit in our Hampton room. It is 9pm and there is music blaring outside our window. It’s so loud that we can’t even hear the tv in our room. A girl is singing Shakira. This has happened the last three nights. And it lasts til at least 10pm. The suite rooms that we booked are very tiny. It’s hard to walk around in here. The staff is really nice and the breakfast is good. But I would never stay here again. All the surrounding hotels have reserved areas of the beach… except for Hampton. So it is hard to find chairs on the beach. The pool is tiny, but really cute. I can’t stand the noise. I’m dying. I wish I could post a video so you could hear what we are hearing.

My stay got off to a rough start when I was given two queen beds despite booking a king — a disappointment that set the tone for the trip. The biggest frustration was the lack of beach chairs. With 120 rooms, the hotel offers fewer than 15 chairs along the beach, making it nearly impossible to secure a spot by the ocean. The beach itself has clean, clear water, but the rocky entry makes it uncomfortable to walk in and harder to truly enjoy. Breakfast was a bright spot — a solid spread of eggs, sausage, potatoes, waffles, fruit, and pastries. Nothing extraordinary, but satisfying and consistent. The front desk experience was hit or miss. Some staff members were warm and helpful, while others were noticeably indifferent. Outside of the main building, the amenities are limited: a small outdoor lounge area with about six chairs, a pool, and a poolside bar. There is no bar inside the hotel, which feels like a missed opportunity for a beach property. Overall, compared to the Marriott next door, this hotel is a noticeable step down in terms of amenities and experience. It may work for budget-conscious travelers, but those expecting a full beach resort feel may leave disappointed.

Stayed here on a day rate for our last night. Good communication through the Hilton App. Rooms good for what we needed Beach very small and tightly packed and so stayed by the pool all day. Small pool but no-one patrolling the area with small kids dive bombing and no parents around!!! Free parking and Diamond member spaces available. Overall ok place with good location but would not stay here for a long holiday. Perfect for what we needed but extremely expensive (over $300 for a day room!!!).

A boring Hampton but with some little worthwhile gems. Nothing special about the hotel itself but these are the things that we liked about it: Must-visit delicious and charming Ms.Piper’s restaurant (and bar beside the pool) that is tucked away behind this non-beachside hotel and the next oceanfront hotel. Quaint small boutique pool with lounge chairs. You have access to loungers and umbrellas on a small stretch of the beach. We literally had to reserve seats at 7am. If you didn’t, I think you may/may not get some loungers in the back row. The location is walking distance to the shopping district and would highly recommend renting a mask and snorkel for about $10USD (includes 2nd day free) at the dive shop along the way. I spotted a green turtle and respectfully snorkelled beside it for 10 minutes-so lucky! Otherwise just lots of cute fish and the water makes you very buoyant so no vest needed. Grand Cayman is very expensive so it’s a good value hotel. Other tips: Tillie’s restaurant is a must-visit. Amazing atmosphere and food.

The staff are exceptionally friendly and professional. I noted on my reservation that I was with two people who were mobility impaired we were put on the second floor which was fine because there was an elevator however we were the second to last room on the hallway which made it really difficult for the mobility impaired to get around. Some of the facilities were not available due to special events and after talking to the front desk they credited my card back for those days with the resort fee. They offer a free buffet breakfast that is yummy with lots to pick from.

We had a wonderful experience at this Hampton Inn. My husband travels frequently and this is one of the nicest ones we have ever stayed in. Wonderful service and plenty of amenities just steps from 7 Mile beach. You can get a beach chair or a bicycle for free that the hotel provides. Eleanora gave us extra special attention and she was extremely helpful very friendly and a real asset to this Hampton Inn

Affordable hotel in an expensive area. Good restaurant. Decent breakfast. Next to the beach. Close to a few shops and restaurants. Free shuttle to other areas. Pool. Great amenities for a slightly less priced hotel on 7 mile beach. Staff was really friendly and nice.
