"Good place to stay. No frills. Really friendly and helpful staff."

Have stayed here a few times before given its proximity to Murphy. Generally a quite location. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Free wifi. Great breakfast on offer also.

Room I requested many months before had been given to someone else. Some of the furnishings are a little dated and could do with an update.

Upon arrival our toilet clogged from normal use. The room smelled musty and damp. The air conditioner had a foul smell coming out of it. My wife described it as stinky feet. We went to the front desk and asked to change rooms. All they did was unclog the toilet and wouldn't give us a new room. The following day they deactived our key cards and we had to go get now ones. I generally have good experiences at holiday Inns but i wouldn't recommend the one in Murphy NC

Breakfast was good and lot of choice. Front desk staff was friendly.

Bathroom in our room had a bad cigarette smoke smell. Price was really high for what you get.

"Just give it away……"

We arrived about 10:30pm and they had given our room away. They said they didn’t have a way to contact us. 🤔 ( I’m a rewards member and I booked thru the app ) There was no other hotels in the area with a room. Everyone was booked. Drove 2 1/2 hrs back home. Totally ruined our trip.
