Hotel Hvide Falk

This beautiful hotel has one of the best views in the city, overlooking Disko Bay. The hotel is currently under renovation, but all of the work is done during the daytime hours, so there is no disturbances at night. The free breakfast buffet is delicious with a variety of great items. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable, with cattle facilities, so you can make your own coffee and tea, beautiful balcony overlooking the water, and all of the icebergs. This was by far the best hotel I stayed at during my time in Greenland.

Bootstour zum Eqi-Gletscher musste wegen Wetter und Motorausfall des Schiffes abgebrochen werden. Kommt das Geld wie versprochen zurück ist alles gut. Dann änderte Airgreenland wie üblich Flüge, auch in letzter Minute. Vom Hotel wurde der um 3 Stunden frühere Transfer (6 Uhr) ohne eigenes Hinzutun organisiert. Die Fahrerin musste extra früh anrücken, auch zum vorgezogenen Aus-Checken. Das war schon Service, wie er nicht mehr selbstverständlich ist. Auch das Zimmer durfte ich 2 Stunden früher beziehen - danke !

Uovertruffen beliggenhed, venlig betjening, men hotellet trænger til en opdatering, virker slidt.

Best hotel in town and best balcony view. I was lucky that i got a room. Hotel staff as well their experienced tour operator guides are very very kind helpful and honest.
