The Kendall Hotel at the Engine 7 Firehouse

Nicely furbished rather cozy hotel close to MIT in old firefighter house (ans much bigger annex) I still know from my time as postdoc at MIT. Very friendly staff. I will come back.

The breakfast could have been a bit better.

The room was cozy and comfortable and the bed was super comfortable. Perfect location, too to the red line straight into Boston.

The hotel is ideally located right outside the subway station, and takes us two stops to Harvard and downtown Boston. The hotel is very welcoming, and the rooms are very pleasant. The establishment brings the history of this former firehouse with an original decor. The breakfast is excellent, with good quality products and generous portions. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Honestly, a wonderfull place!

We were sad to leave the hotel.

I like the decor, the rooms are comfortable, and the location is close to the subway. There are lots of eateries in walking distance. There is floor security. The elevators require your key card to be swiped to use the elevator to go up.

I don't remember being impressed by the breakfast. It is was ok. Better than many, but that isn't too hard lately. I was disappointed with the drink service. The water/juice cups were tiny. Had to be less than 8 oz. If you were looking to hydrate in the morning with a big glass of water, it wasn't happening. The coffee cups were likewise on the smaller side.
