very nice little hotel. very good value for money. nice and simple but had the comforts of home. lovely & clean nice comfortable bed. bathroom was spotlessly clean too. on a nice street & on street parking which is free on a Sunday.

For a 2 star hotel can't go wrong get what you pay for.

Can hear rooms about 3 doors down.

More hangers in the closet space also wash towels would be nice to ask the quest if would be needing any , I had to buy one to bath with that's what I am a costum of from a child my intire family believes in it .

The location is good. Right next to a metro station 10 minutes walk to the city center

The room was much smaller that what I thought. Maybe they do have some bigger rooms. No hot water at some points especially in the evening

Location was convinient to the places I wanted to go

TV channels in French only they should include English language

I am somewhere between 2 and 3 stars on this. No fault of the hotel but we arrived when the main street outside was under massive reconstruction with both sidewalks and the road. This made access quite difficult plus the noise was monumental (although the windows did a good job of drowning that out mercifully). We almost felt like fleeing on first approaching. To add to the negative, the hotel is certainly on the faded side of royalty - a sadly inappropriate name selection. The room was very spartan and there were no amenities: fridge, microwave, coffee/tea making etc. For the money I would have expected at least some of that. On the other hand, by way of redemption, there are some positives: Surprisingly, the windows provided excellence sound-proofing from the very busy streets right outside. At first I was skeptical about the noise level but with the window shut it was extremely quiet. The location is also good, being very close to the tram to get to the city center, and it is also close to the river as well as some restaurants, bars and groceries. Parking is pretty easy and also cheap - although not directly connected to the hotel. When the street construction is done it actually could be a very nice location. Our timing was unfortunate.

Stayed in Hotel Le Royalty for one night, passing through Angers. The plus points: very friendly and helpful welcome by lady on reception; centrally located (with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, the museums and castle a 20-min walk away); car park opposite and on street nearby; comfortable bed; immaculate shower room. Downside: reception and stairwell a bit rundown; no air conditioning (so opened windows and then it was a bit noisy, especially at night). Would recommend if you are after a conveniently-situated, reasonably priced hotel for a night.

Clean and comfortable, handy location for cycle path and main centre, bikes stored safely. Very friendly staff. Bit tired looking outside and in corridors but made up for it inside. Tea and coffee in room would be good.
