The Best

Great location with a view of the Arenal volcano. Hotel has hot spring pools which great Relaxed atmosphere around the hotel great staff especially Melvin who works in the bar and restaurant. Also a very efficient laundry service we got soaked to the skin and sent clothes to the laundry for drying returned in 3hrs. Rooms are large, with hot tub Cannot rate the value for money as part a tour around Costa Rica organised by Trailfinders

Stayed in the Family Suite during spring break with my wife and son - this is a HUGE room, albeit with a few quirks travelers should be aware of. The room has an indoor jacuzzi, but because they completely drain the jacuzzi between stays (which, to be clear, is much appreciated!), it's not fully heated up until the second day of your day. The bathroom also has a slightly quirky layout, with the toilet and sink in one room and the shower in the corner near the jacuzzi (with no door). The room was so spacious, though (with two queen beds in the main sleeping area, and an additional day bed behind a pony wall - great layout for families), and we really appreciated having the ability to spread out while we were there. The day bed came in handy when we needed to dry out some of our hiking gear after a particularly rainy bird watch! All that said, this was a great stay. The hotel offers phenomenal views of Arenal, and we enjoyed watching the wildlife (coatis, toucans, etc.) from our balcony. The hot springs are small compared to Tabacon but still lovely. The breakfast at the resort (which was included in our rate) was delicious, and every server we interacted with while we were there was very attentive and personable. The resort is also very well located - just a few minutes down the road from Tabacon and La Fortuna and very accessible to everything the area has to offer.

Beautiful hotel with fantastic views of the volcano and wonderland gardens. The hotel is relaxing and the hot springs baths are a must. The food and service are great and staff friendly and helpful. The choice of food is extensive and very good quality. Rooms are very comfortable and aminaties very good. Easy reach of the town and exploring the local area. Hot tub in the room and large beds are heavenly, and the room service and little touches, such as the towel are, make it a very special.

We loved the view, the beautiful grounds, the birds in the trees, the hot tub in the room also with the view, the helpful staff, the room facilities, the breakfasts, the hot springs pools in the grounds, the restaurants, Would definitely recommend this hotel on all counts.

All good apart from my partner ruining his best trousers with splashes of bleach that he somehow came into contact with in the pool/hot springs area.

The view of the Arenal volcano takes your breath away. The breakfast was delicious and well done. The sister location for thermal soaking is much better than the on property….be sure to visit that free of charge.

The rooms are tired and a bit lacking. The bed makes a sound every time you move. I got sick from the AC as I am conflict it hasn’t been cleaned or serviced.

Hotel com muito boa estrutura. Demos azar pelo clima nublado e encoberto o que não nos permitiu visualizar o vulcão.
