The property was stunning and the staff were amazing.

this hotel is a great location for visiting all the attractions and a 30 minute drive from the town of La Fortuna. The rooms are large, small balcony but an amazing view of the volcano. It is clean, a bit dated but perfectly fine. The thermal springs are relaxing and social and the staff friendly. There are large jacuzzi in the rooms which is a little strange as they are inside not out. But some other guests loved it. Food was good in the evenings, breakfast could have had a bit more choice.

We had an amazing room (1104) with an incredible view of the volcano! It was very large, comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff were fantastic, very helpful and always happy to engage in a conversation. I would have given 5 stars but sadly the dated restaurant and average food quality lets this hotel down. You’ll need a car or booked transport as the hotel is about 5 miles out of La Fortuna.

The people and staff are amazing. The resort was so very nice and the hot springs amazing and the food is great. We loved it. End of November for thanksgiving was our trip. It rained half the time but was still very nice.

For a 5 stars hotel at this price point, I found it insuficiente. The breakfast was lacking fresh options, the yogurt (for example) was the lowest quality available, those with 10 ingredients when you only need two... Industrialized juice with tons of sugar, almost no options of bread. If you want more quality everything is paid on the side, even coffee. The termas are okish, nothing special at all, food at the restaurants was also okish, and very pricey. They are not into giving you the best experience as a 5 stars is supposed to, they are worried about making money. in summary not a 5 starts.

Stayed here for couple of days. Location of this resort is great, views of Arenal volcano are exceptional. Check-in was quick, but not sure about over the top explanation of the resort by the front desk. We got a lower level room which I was not happy about and the front desk told me that I will be moved to upper level, but they never looked into it. The room looked aged to me, they need to update them. The hot tub in the room also looked old, we had trouble operating it as the controls were worn out. Morning breakfast was really good, I would say that was the best of this resort. I stayed in an Airbnb with similar amenities and views of Arenal for a far lower price . For me it was a miss and would not recommend.

Great location, beautiful place and excellent view to the forest and the volcano. Rooms are nice and comfortable. Services at restaurants and bars is slow.
