Ottimo hotel con rapporto prezzo/qualitá giusto. Una buona location sul mare con un ottima vista.

The customer service representative, Magdena, was fantastic. I had a medical problem, and she and the staff helped me out more than once in getting to a doctor and then getting supplies and a doctor’s report I needed. Similarly she helped our travel companions when one of them had an inconclusive COVID test. There were other small things she also did for us. The entire staff was friendly and help. The location is excellent, and the price was very reasonable.

Good stay

The hotel is well appointed and comfortable. The staff at reception were extremely helpful. The restaurant on the beach is very pleasing although the service was a bit slow. However, the meal was excellent.

We arrived 30 minutes after check in started and our room was not ready until 2 hours after our arrival. The reception staff said they would talk to the manager about some compensation but he never got back to us. We had booked a room for three people on hotels.com but the hotel did not have any triple rooms so we got an extra bed in a double room which was okay but was not prepared when we arrived. Breakfast was good but the resturant was pricey with very boring food. The hotel was quite run down and in need of a renovation. Definitely not a 4 star hotel and I recommend you find another accommodation in Dar.

If you come to this hotel with a partner that has local background and is female and is of different skin color and age than yourself - this guest is treated automatically as a hooker by security and receptionists. We felt deeply uncomfortable staying at this hotel, to the extent that my partner refused to spend the night in this hotel. I stayed several times at the hotel and noted that the bar area is crowded at times of ladies of a certain profession and the hotel openly tolerated their presence and accompanying businessmen to their rooms. Meanwhile, if you happen to be in a relationship with someone and check in as a couple you get a treatment as if something is wrong with your relation, your difference in background, skin color or age. This is deeply troubling and I have not experienced this in any other hotel in Dar es Salaam. The only professional staff in this hotel is food and beverage and their manager, while housekeeping, security and receptionists have the mentioned bias and terrible behavior.
