"A relaxing and pleasant stay in a great city"

Since last there, it has had a full makeover . Much brighter and modern. We were going to skip breakfast, however, the system is different. All fruit, cereal, continental, pastries is help yourself, but you are now offered a breakfast menu made fresh for you…much better than the old help yourself serving dishes! It was excellent. Staff were so friendly and helpful too. Wine from the bar was not over the top price wise and the selection was good. The rooms were so comfortable and very clean. Everything just perfect. We will be back !

The reduced rate car park

Quite a few dislikes… very disappointed for the cost of the room I felt the carpet was very dirty as were the windows… the room had a funny smell and no air conditioning, the heat was pretty unbearable during the night which forced us to keep the window open and due to the noise in the street disturbed the kids sleeping not great at all very uncomfortable

"Very lively and fun hotel"

Enjoyed our spa weekend stay although we did have an issue on arrival when we weren't able to use the swimming pool and spa prior to our treatments as they were 'at capacity' Was very disappointed as we had booked the hotel exactly for this purpose. Spoke to reception and was given an extra 2 hours on check out the next day to use the facilities in a quieter time which was a good resolution to the problem. Dealt with very quickly and professionally by staff member. Can't help but wonder that they must come a croper on that problem a lot and perhaps the spa entry needs to be better managed to ensure spa package weekend customers get what they paid for.. Despite the hotel being super busy the staff are very attentive and service is fast. Food was great too although the restaurant is a bit brightly lit 😐 Didn't sleep well as room was hot stuffy, wasn't able to use the fan we had as my travelling companion likes the room hot and stuffy so that wasn't the fault of the hotel 😆 Would definitely go back. Its in a great location too - ok the dock near V&A and Discovery. Can recommend !
