The Ranch at Laguna Beach is fantastic. Truly, my stay could not have been any better. The location, setting, food, pool, and accommodations were all top notch. The kind and helpful staff is really what sets it apart, however. Everyone is so warm and sincere. The dining room is gorgeous and the food excellent. The whole compound is lovely and peaceful. I love all of the vegetation. They even grow some of the food onsite. The vibe is very mellow, but there is plenty to do. It's also quite eco-friendly, which I loved. They have a pool, spa, bocce court, 9 hole golf course, etc. I will definitely hope to return. Thank you!

This was a stunning property, with staff that really knows what fantastic service is. The sustainability efforts were purpose drive, and able to be achieved thoughtfully for the guest. We are not golfers, but it looked like the people who are were enjoying themselves immensely. The conference space was comfortable and quiet. We were able to enjoy the spa and ate multiple times at the Harvest restaurant. The food was exceptional at the restaurant and during the conference meals. There is an appreciation for the food and resources that can be felt wholeheartedly from the executive chef! I would highly recommend The Ranch, it is casual California class at its finest.

We reserved the one-hour Scout Camp and Farm tour on Thursday when it is open to the public. The tour starts down the hill from the valet drop-off, the first right before the bridge at the Chef's Garden fenced area. Head farmer Ryan drove the 12-passenger van through the golf course explaining the history of Aliso Canyon and its first settlers. At the farm, he explains the sustainable practices and gave us samples to smell and nibble. He told us what they grow and how the chefs us it at the Harvest restaurant on site. The compost pile they use for fertilizer is impressive. We also got to feed the chickens and how their one egg a day is used to make pasta. You can't walk to or from the Farm since the road goes through the golf course. After we were dropped off, we were just in time for our 12:15 reservation at Harvest. We chose dishes with ingredients that were harvested that morning--fava beans, squash blossoms, violas, mustard greens, and very sweet strawberries. Very informative and very well done.

The Ranch is a beautiful, fun, family-friendly place to stay -- with myriad activities for everyone, plus a great atmosphere with plenty to see and do -- we had an amazing time. The grounds are clean, beautiful, and private. Can't recommend it enough!

We had a wonderful time even though our trip was short. Great treehouse and staff was excellent
