Hotel Mas Prades

We participated in the triathlon and it was very close.

There was an awful smell, both in the restaurant and upstairs. It was very chemical.

Small hotel among the rice fields of the Ebro delta. Quiet. Has a good restaurant, however with restricted opening times.

Before booking we had checked the hotel website and saw that the restaurant would be open every evening, which we preferred as we would ba away all day. On the day of arrival we received a message that the restaurant wouldn't be open on weekday evenings. The old(?) opening times were also posted in the elevator. If we had known this beforehand we would have gone elsewhere. Cancelling just a few hours before wasn't an option. On our first night there was nobody to provide breakfast, so we received some fruit, two madeleines and a bottle of juice.

Small, privately run hotel with restaurant in the midst of rice fields, no near neighbors. Hence the restaurant is specialized in rice dishes. We had a spacious room overlooking the rice fields. As it was January we needed the heating mode of the airconditioning, which was more than adequate. Recommended.

Not much

Very limited arrival time period. Cold room. Strong disinfectant smell. No restaurant staff until 20:30 so had to find restaurant in town. Bright green safety light in room interrupted sleep. High price for a very ordinary 3 star room.
