Homeless and addicts surrounding area and I felt unsafe walking directly back to the hotel. I wished they had a policy of no loitering for the homeless in the private parking lot.
USI liked being on the opposite side of the hotel from the noisy, dirty light rail.
The silverfish were few, the elevator didn't work (and hadn't for weeks) and we were expected to walk up 5 stories to our room. Kindly, we asked for and received a 2nd floor room. The ice machine was broken, but our aim was to get as close to the convention center for the least amount of cost, and ice was plentiful elsewhere.

The hotel looked like a dump on the inside outside. The room wasn't clean i.e. dirty rug, broken toilet seat, dirty shower,cand run down, old furniture. Hole in blanket.

Ice machine broke TV remote wasn't programmed to tv. Noisy next to major street. Big hole in ceiling from water damage.
USThe location was terrific.
The staff was not available to answer questions at the front desk even after I rang the bell at 4:00 pm. Thinnest washcloths, peeling floorboards, lumpy pillows, broken sink fixture & TP was stained. Luckily there was a new TP that was unwrapped I used. Considering there was very few people staying here I was disappointed I was put in a room right next to the MAX. Very loud with windows so thin you could hear conversations of people on the sidewalk below.
