Un excellent accueil, les hotesses ont fait preuve d’une gentillesse incroyable et ont répondu à toutes nos demandes. La grande chambre, le charme des lieux, la piscine avec la terrasse agréable pour prendre un verre.

Le lit qui grince. J'aurais apprécié une bouilloire dans la chambre. Les capsules de café payantes. C'était un peu compliqué pour obtenir nos 2 boissons sur la terrasse.

It is a beautiful hotel located in a 500 year old house. Our suite was spacious and comfortable. Being center city was great as we could explore everything on foot. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. A special shout out to Barbara for her work to make the stay special. If our dog Toby could write, he would tell you that he was impressed with how dog friendly it was

The Wi-Fi in our room was not the best. It's probablyw due to the thick stone walls. The hotel informed us they were going to address this

Beautiful rooms and decor and breakfast lovely.

The lady at breakfast just stared and was not super friendly. Glasses were tiny so to drink water you needed to refill them at least 5 times to drink a normal glass worth of water! Other than the ridiculous mini glass sizes the rest was perfect. Car park one minute away and costs €10 a night.

One of my favourite accommodations in Portugal so far. It’s a mansion built in 1509, so the vibe was that catch up my breath. It’s renovated, but you still can see some of the walls/ parts underneath. Great location, right next to the train station and just a hundreds metres away from the pearl ‘Sanctuary of the Sacred Heart of Jesus / Mount of Santa Luzia Santuário do Sagrado Coração de Jesus’. Very friendly and welcoming staff. The rooms are big with high ceilings. It’s very clean too.

Usually I will be annoyed by hearing the neighbours next room, but in that case it was not something that concerned me as it was part of the vibe (as they are just a wooden door away).

Prachtig behouden hotel! Je bent onderdeel van de geschiedenis! Mooi gerestaureerd en ingericht en vlakbij het oude centrum en de Camino. Ondanks dat ik vlakbij het station zat had ik geen last van het lawaai van de treinen/bussen en de drukte.

De douche was een beetje ouderwets. Maar goed genoeg.
