The staff was extremely helpful

We absolutely loved the location, close to everything but away from crowds. I also appreciated the staff on getting us to a better room.

I didn't enjoy not getting bored in a room we reserved.

Pool and hot tub

We were first given a room that wasn’t even cleaned, and it also wasn’t the room type I originally booked. We had to go back down to the lobby and request another room with two beds. After finally getting settled for the night, we discovered a huge dried blood stain on the sheets. It was obvious the bedding had not been changed by housekeeping. We contacted the hotel and were told that since there was no housekeeping staff on duty, we would have to change the sheets ourselves. Completely unacceptable. After speaking with the manager, we were accommodated in different rooms for the night, but then expected to move back into our original rooms the next day. That meant packing all of our belongings, moving rooms late at night, then unpacking and repacking again the next day just to return to the original room. It was exhausting, and during all the moving around, some of our personal belongings were accidentally left behind in the temporary rooms. To make matters worse, once we returned to the original room, we noticed broken glass on the floor that we were stepping on. At that point, we were honestly tired of complaining and didn’t want to come across as “Karens,” so we just dealt with it since we were checking out the next day anyway. The only nice part of our stay was probably the pool and hot tub. But for the amount of money I paid, I’ve honestly had much better experiences at cheaper hotels nearby. I booked this hotel thinking paying more would mean a better experience, but that definitely was not the case. It also became uncomfortable because multiple staff members seemed to know our room number and situation, making it feel like employees were gossiping about us. Overall, this place was not worth the price at all. I would strongly recommend spending your money elsewhere.
