Lovely, quiet location. Comfortable, clean and well equipped. Very welcoming host who provided food for us to prepare our own breakfasts.

Unfortunately we were there in the middle of the September heatwave and the property was very hot. It was great to have a fan provided, much appreciated. There are 2 radiators in the property so imagine it would be warm and cosy in the cooler months. Only one taxi firm go out that far.

Our stay at Great Sampford B&B was perfect. We were enroute from Yorkshire to Essex to drop our daughter off at uni and this was a perfect place to stay overnight. The accommodation was spotless and comfortable. Our request for a gluten free breakfast was met - thank you .

A really nice B&B run by lovely people for whom nothing is too much trouble. Their advertisements clearly state that breakfast is supplied but you cook it yourself. This is fine as long as you know.

We are from the Netherlands, one of the tallest races in the world and for us, we could have done with a slightly larger bed, but it's not a complaint.

The solitude, peace and quiet, the outlook. The spotlessly clean kitchen equipment , bathroom facilities and living area. The host was very helpful. The proximity to a very good Italian restaurant {booking recommended}

As we were required to strip beds we couldn't help notice the mattress, under the topper, was stained rather badly. Although surroundings were perfect, the small garden area was not private and very close to the other rental properties.

Very clean,quiet & exactly what’s described.

The mattress was a little soft but that’s just our preference,nothing wrong with it at all.
