"Best Hotel on Antrim Coast"

10.0

Seriously great hotel. Rooms with sea views, and staff genuine, warm and friendly. Location was perfect with beach to front and gardens with small river to rear. Ghost room and Game of Thrones door are lovely attractions in the hotel. Dinner was so good too. Would highly recommend.

"Great place to explore beautiful Northern Ireland"

8.0

We received a warm welcome when we arrived, which followed the courtesy emails and call a few days before to check if there was anything at all that the hotel could do to make our stay perfect. Our room was large and comfortable, lovely ESPA products in the bathroom, great sea view from our window. The breakfast in the morning was fabulous - local produce and great service from people that seemed to really like their jobs (which is so unusual these days!). It was a great spot for heading up the coast to giants Causeway and Portrush and just 30 mins from Belfast - a perfect weekend retreat.

"A relaxing getaway"

8.0

Ballygalley castle is situated on the sea front. The hotel was very welcoming with a warm fire in the foyer to sit around while looking at the stunning sea views. The hotel was peaceful even though it was busy. Check-in was at 4pm, we had booked a coastal room which did not disappoint. The view from the room was stunning. The room was beautiful, clean and spacious. The bathroom was clean with a bath and separate shower, fluffy white towels and bathrobes supplied. On arrival we decided that we would have our evening meal in the hotel. The receptionist booked this for us. We were also given a few directions for the hotel to see the gardens and the haunted bedroom at the top of the tower in the oldest part of the hotel. The Ballygalley has a rich history which you could read about on the walls in the hotel reception. The restaurant for the evening meal was decorated as you would expect a hotel with castle history to be. Our meal was lovely we went with the traditional fish and chips which was lovely and very reasonably priced. The breakfast the next morning was plentiful. Continental options of breads and fruits. The hot option was a typical fry up. Tea, Coffee, fruit juices etc.

"Relax and stay"

10.0

Just had a wonderful relaxing stay at Ballygally Castle Hotel, using gift voucher from our family in Australia we booked a dinner bed and breakfast package. The room was lovely, beautiful views over the gardens and the sea. Everything was immaculate and the bed was very big and very comfortable. Dinner was superb, the menu was great and the food was delicious as was breakfast the next morning. Really lovely, friendly and helpful staff made our stay feel special. We really enjoyed staying in a hotel with modern facilities but with so much history and loved the ghost room and the gardens are beautiful and so well maintained. We will definitely be planning a return visit.
