Eaglewood Resort & Spa

The location was great and the outdoor scenery beautiful. Nice view from the balcony. The main entrance was impressive and in the Frank Lloyd Wright style. The swimming pool was nice and spa as well as spa. The staff at the Spa area was very friendly and helpful.

Refrigerator didn't work and asked maintenance person about it as he was called to change light bulb and he just said turn it up rather than look at it. The lock to the sliding glass door to balcony didn't lock. I asked for maintenance again and was never fixed luckily I was on the 8th floor. Television satellite stopped working. The water main broke on one day so I was unable to take a shower. No one alerted me to this. I needed to call to get information.

Location is beautiful and great location to winery and plenty of shopping all about 10 minutes away.

Room are a little outdated and some outlets were very loose and did not fit some of our phone chargers.

No water, the shower water didn’t work, I waited outside of the pool for 30minutes no one apologized or explained the lateness. The pool shower didn’t work the chlorophyll was itching my skin. Get to the room the shower wasn’t working. I used a bottle of water to clean my face and they charged me for it. The coffee shop was out of supplies.

Staff are friendly and super efficient. The room was spacious and clean. My only real complaint is it is quite isolated from other sites in Chicago.

Sept 19-21, 2025 I decided to do a staycation and invited some of my sister/friends just wanted to get away from the noise of life, so 8 of us had an amazing time, relaxation, spa, whirlpool, sauna, dancing, eating, (my sisters said the buffet food was so good) laughing, bowling and live music off the balcony over looking the golf course, shuttle to dinner and back, Rashad and Patrick was so accommodating

Beautiful property, reasonably priced for an end of season stay.

Me and my fiancé were there just for one night because he took some time from his busy schedule to visit me from Georgia so that we can plan over wedding and that was the reason I booked this specific resort to see if that the perfect place to get over forever started but it was a disaster coz they first gave us room 1106 and it’s was too hot and the cooling system was not working. The maintenance guy did came and fixed it and then told us to wait for 2 hours to let the room get cold but even after waiting for 4 hours it was the same . Then they moved us to room 812 and the room was still not cold enough even at 60 degrees but we still managed because we didn’t want to be rude. In the morning when I took the shower the bathtub wouldn’t drain at all so I call the front desk again and they said they will send someone but no one showed up for half an hour and then when we went for the check out my fiancé explained the whole incident to the receptionist and he just politely asked them to please take care of this kind of situation because it was really bad experience with this resort. And the manager came and started arguing that if we have a problem then talk to me instead for the receptionist but we were just explaining the situation that’s all .. my fiancé was very polite and we didn’t even ask for refund or anything. He just said that they would kind take care of this kind of situation in the future and that’s all. And the manager was just very rude and started arguing
