The room was super clean, smelled good and the a/c was already set to the perfect temperature The hotel has the nicest backyard, every room has a private balconny and the view is beautifull It is close to the beach, the supermarket, restaurants etc. Alexis was very kind and welcoming, always happy to help ! Staff members like that really diserve a raise

Would I stay here again? No. Would I recommend it and give it 4.5 stars? Yes. You cannot beat the value, service and location of this property. I have been coming to St Pete for over 25 years - my usual stays are at Don Cesar or Tradewinds, so you will understand that this hotel/motel will not become my regular place, but I was pleasantly surprised. I needed to stay just one night passing through town and didn't want to spend more than $200 and found this property. PROS; - Service. Every staff member, every response, every phone call. Top notch - Immaculately clean room - Though my room was probably only 12 x 12 it was incredibly well laid out. Full kitchen amenities (apt size fridge, plates, coffee maker, toaster, etc...) Small table to eat at, queen bed. New wall unit AC that was silent and cold. - Very family friendly. They have cornhole, table hockey, shuffleboard, ping pong and two volleyball courts. None of these interests me, but fabulous for a family. - Small pool and small bar that was super cute. great to have both amenities. Small pool at the off-beach property as well. - Happy hour 4-5 each day. I didn't get back to property until about 5:15 but went to the lobby to pick up a pool towel. Lots of people still lingering in the lobby from HH having fun. - They have 25+ quality Adirondack chairs on the beach for use - loved that. Vendor on the beach for lounge chairs w/ umbrellas for $24. - An Alexa device is available in the room. Along with safe in closet and make up mirror in bathroom. Yes, bathroom is small, but it works. - I thought the bed was extremely comfortable and pillows quality as well. - great patio and small fenced in doggie area. - staffing shortage? Not here. in every area of the property, someone always working. At 9:00 p.m. staffing taking in kayaks, doing laundry, cleaning pool, etc. CONS: - They said it was a rule that they couldn't give me my room keys until I put on a wrist band. I appreciated my early check in, but just was going to just drop my stuff and go meet friends. So, to get my keys, I had to let clerk put on a wrist band, which I promptly ripped off 2 minutes later in the car. I hate nonsensical process like this. I get you need bands to keep people from just walking on the property, but I am an adult - just give me the band and I will appropriately use it when I am on property. - This should not deter anyone, and I consider it part of life in Florida, in August. on the water - bugs. Caulk the baseboards in each room on the 1st floor in addition to the other remedies I'm sure are in place. Though the artist who painted the artwork in the room is clearly incredibly talented.... I wish the fish over my bed was happier :-)

Very pleasant

We are on our way to this lovely resort. From the reviews I read and after reading reviews from other resorts, this seems to be a good choice. It was easy making a reservation and we are looking forward to packing in as much fun for our short stay.

Everything was good. Consider putting Kurigs in rooms

Good place to stay close to the beach. Everything was going good until a drunk guy jump the fence on the balcony and start knocking our door at 2 am trying to open the door. Obviously a scary moment to us. He stay almost 20 minutes trying to get in our room, until he finally walks out when my husband tell him for the 5th time "this is not your room, get out of our balcony or we are going to call the police". The next day when I complained at the office, the lady say " thats weird it never happened before and I have being working here for 3 years" and I request them to check the security cameras and she still saying the same thing like she dont believes what happend and then make a note for the manager. It was a really bad experience.

Very impressed on the customer service and cleanliness of the room.
