Evening check-in staff very pleasant. Room comfortable & clean, nicely made up, plenty of light fixtures. Big apartment-sized frig (not that we needed for one night but good to know!). Only one/two news channels—both w/same slant.

At 8 am, Continental breakfast had no fresh fruit, only one yogurt cup. Cereal had dried out/old flakes. Don’t expect too much these days but quality/flavor of what is offered is just not there. Otherwise, definitely would stay there again.

Breakfast was Great

The first room I was given the fan/AC did not function. The 2nd had fantastically clean and fresh linens. Tho Quite dirty dusty. The shower head leaked, one of the bedside lamps did Not work while the other bulb flickered. I had to use my phone light. The freezer leaked water down into the fridge Lack of attention to cleaning detail in bathroom around toilet base, an old washcloth wash left on the shower bar and the drain had pasta and hair (which I personally cleaned before I showered), the exhaust fan was full of dust, dead flies on the floor, and the black out curtains had holes while the ornamental ones were falling down.

The location was close to I10

The light switch by the door didn't do anything, not sure what it was supposed to be attached to. Reading lights by the bed didn't turn on, bulbs where there so many it was supposed to be connected to the light switch by the door. Bathroom ceiling had some of the plaster finish hanging down, ready to fall off. There were mold spots on wall close to the ceiling in the bathroom. The hot and cold indicators on the since were reversed, found out testing the 'cold' water and had very hot water hit my hand. Two night traveling, two nights in Baymont hotels (Laredo and here at Ft Stockton) that's it for staying in a Baymont hotel again and it might be the last time staying in any hotel that Wyndham puts it's name on. So surprised that Wyndham would have building like these franchised out using their name.

The smell of Fabuloso was awful. We only stayed there because it was already 10pm. We had to sleep with masks on. I don't understand how people stay at that place.
