Belair Beach Hotel

All suites have amazing ocean front views and the water is crystal clear!! Staff was super nice and helpful. Rooms and decor definitely need updating.

Quiet location directly on a nice private beach. Spacious apartment.

Although it was clear upfront that the apartment would be old and that is fine, two things were really bothering: very noisy airconditiong and a mattrass that should have been replaced long ago.

My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay at The Belaire!! The staff is amazing and very welcoming from Justin who checked us in to Tracylee and Ester whom greeted us every morning!! The food is phenomenal … Thank you soo much Ms. Myrtle for our amazing breakfast dishes (oatmeal hands down is my favorite) also to Angelo and Delmar for all of your hospitality!!! The Gingerbread is it!! The scenario is breathtaking, doesn’t matter if you are on a family trip or a romantic get away … The Belaire is definitely the place you want to go!! The staff made us feel as though we were family… can’t wait to see you ALL again!! If you need transportation ANYWHERE on the island call Jorge!! Thanks again Ms. Glenda for all of your love and soul!!

Location is great and the staff is wonderfull

Breakfast starts at 08:30, why so late? Also the signs at the front desk informed us that the bar (Gingerbread cafe) closes at 21:30, we arrived for check-in at 21:00 hoping to have one more drink but they had already closed up! We tried to get at least a bottle of water at the front desk, but they could not get us anything. The tap water on Sint Maarten isnt great, so some bottled water for sale at the front desk would be the least we would expect. But they could not offer us anything. A small change could make a lot of difference here!

Belair has two bedroom condos that all have ocean views and is on a terrific beach. The rooms are outdated but clean. The restaurant is just OK but we ended up going next door to Divi to eat or drove to other places. This is a great place to stay if you want a great beach, nice staff, safety and ocean view rooms but don't care about extra luxury. Also snorkeling out to the underwater sculpture garden from the beach was a plus!

I've stayed here multiple times and although it is an older hotel, I enjoy the restaurant, beach and the mini mart. It is nice that you can order food and drink from the mini mart before you go and they will stock your room before you arrive. Also, it is conveniently located next to another hotel with restaurants, and another market store as well as some clothing stores. The HUGE disappointment was the WiFi and internet. It buffers most of the time and although smart TV's were purchased, the streaming speed isn't fast enough to use services such as Netflix. You can't stream them on your phone for the same reason. I have never been anywhere where is was that bad It was incredibly frustrating.

The Ocean front view with the balcony on the second floor was my favorite part. The staff, security and services are top notch. The convenient location to walk the beach and Bay Area were key as well. I highly recommend the resort.
