Mountain Chalet Snowmass

Hotel staff was great. Property itself is older and could use some upgrades.

Wonderful property

The staff was great and very accommodating. The hotel is old and the rooms are somewhat outdated, but was sufficient for an overnight stay. The shower was cold (even let it run for 15 minutes).

Location

I'd like to that.It was up in snowmass and very beautiful. I didn't like that. The person at the front desk didn't call me or text me with a code for the lockbox. So when I arrived, there was no getting keys for my room that I had already got charged for.

The people here go out of their way to help. Food was excellent, breakfast and lunch. Spent an amazing week, can't wait to go back ! Needed a battery charger, and the desk person was right on it and helped me out. I don't know where else I would have found one. Thanks to everyone there for a great time.

True ski in/out. The staff serving breakfast and lunch are so nice and the food is delicious. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect

Location is great. Beds, showers, the gym, etc. are all pretty dated. Very dated and old. My son asked if the hotel was from the 1900’s. However, the staff is amazing. We really love them. We missed the old breakfast and lunch where you could just grab what you want quickly and go. They started serving the food, so you get tiny portions and it adds about 15 minutes onto your meal when you’re just trying to hurry and get back to the slopes. Also, a lot of the meals are not kid friendly which stinks compared to the meals the last few years. The ladies are very kind in the lunchroom, but we miss the kid friendly lunch choices. Also, once you book a room it is non refundable.
