The Little Angel

We loved the little angel was located very near to all the places we wanted to visit,and only 5 minutes from train station we loved all the little touches like the breakfast and refreshments in we would definitely go back and have recommended to friends

Perfectly located for the harbour, the train station and the bus station we were very pleased to find The Little Angel. On arrival Wendy was lovely and very helpful and the box of crisps and breakfast supplies and fresh milk in the fridge was a lovely surprise. The ceiling is a little low in the bedroom but this is to be expected in an old building and we had no bumped heads. The bed was extremely comfortable. The sitting room is above the beer garden so you do get a bit of noise at night but its a pub and they close it about 10.30pm so wasn't a problem. There is only permit holder parking in the area but we parked in one of the long stay car parks which was fine and only a short walk if you dont have hundreds of bags and you can pay by app for nore than one day at a time. The pub itself is well stocked with something for everyone and even brew their own beer. I would definitely stay here again if we came to Whitby

Great package of cereals, croissants, jams and porridge and also orange juice, milk and water in the fridge. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Great little pub with live music. Will definitely stay again.

No telly in the bedroom

Friendly staff upon arrival. Suite was clean comfortable and spacious but needs a little TLC here an there. Lovely little basket of breakfast goodies and snacks and a fridge with water milk juice jams and butter for us to use. Only downside is the beer gardenThe smoking are was directly under the windows.We dont smoke so that wasnt too pleasant.But overall was a lovely stay and would come back.

Very clean and very nicely presented.

The toilet was on the lower floor from the bedroom which was ok but we were unaware when we booked as I have had recent hip surgery. This was ok and I managed quite well we would stay again.

A lovely, well appointed suite with absolutely everything you need.

A wonderful stay with a beautiful room (well rooms as it had a seperate living and dining room) over the top of a Proper Pub, (wooden beams, walls covered in old brewery and pub stuff) music in the background but not so loud as to drown out conversation. Great selection of ales. Really couldn't fault it. Nice breakfast basket in the room, milk and OJ in the fridge. We were overlooking the beer garden but the noise wasn't excessive. Everyone we met from the bar staff to the lady who was cleaning up on the morning we left were pleasant, courteous and helpful. Parking is at a premium in Whitby so expect to walk about 10mins (Leisure Centre Carpark £11.20/24hrs). The pub is card only, which i personally didn't mind but worth a mention if you've brought cash. Much like the rest of Whitby The Little Angel is very dog friendly (they make their own dog treats) so expect to neet a few furry customers. We'll definitely be returning and recommending it to our friends and family. Oh and they also have a cottage a short walk away that accommodates 6 people.
