The Classic Desert Aire Hotel

The room was spacious and quiet with an updated bed. The facilities, overall, are dated. Service in the restaurant was quick.

They have a limited Breakfast menu in the restaurant for those who have rented a room, from which guests can pick a single item. Drinks are free. Anything beyond a single serving of the limited items designated for guests of the motel will be paid for by the guest.

Everything: Beautiful room and facilities. totally exceeded expectations

This is a massive motel conveniently located within a short driving distance of White Sands National Park, colorfully painted with a nice gift shop in the lobby. The rooms are decently spacious and the bath towels are huge! Downsides include a complimentary breakfast of cold potatoes, cold toast, cold eggs, and pretty good sausage. The shower is weak and oscillates between freezing cold and scalding hot. The amount of hair on the bathroom floor resembles a barbershop and tells me they don’t clean the rooms very well.

The Desert Aire Hotel was the perfect place to explore White Sands National Park. It was incredibly comfortable, clean, and had a great free sit-down breakfast. The patches of artificial turf around the hotel was also perfect for our pups. We would absolutely return for any future trips to White Sands.
