Lodge at Brookside, A Vail Resorts Property

enjoyed this trip to avon. My son works at Beaver Creek Resort, so we wanted to come visit him and ski a little. The condo was wonderful, and everything around us was very nice. The only issue I had was we had told the concierge that we would arrive around 3:00 pm. The cleaning people were still working on our condo at 6:00 pm that evening. That was frustrating for us since it had been a long day of travel for us.

Located right across the street from the shuttle to Beaver Creek. It was a great value for the price. Plenty of room for a large group.

First of all, the name is misleading as the name is "Chapel" at Chapel Plaza. Also the location, address and map location is not correct. At address belongs to a hotel/Time share apartments called "Seasons". That was inconvenient for me and my family as we had planned to walk the ski lift at West Inn across the street, now we had to take the ski bus to Beaver Creek. That was not explained anywhere. Apart from that, the place is actually nice, with Super market, restaurants and Sports Authority within walking distance, but disappointing when you expected a different location.

We were in Vail for a sports tournament and found the best value for lodging in Avon. GOing to the grocery we expected Vail prices, but to our surprise we found Denver prices on groceries at City Market, owned by King Soopers. Avon is much cheaper than Vail for entertainment activities and the drive is not bad at all. Jump on 70 and be in Vail in 12 minutes.

We enjoyed our stay. Our room was on top of commercial buildings but nice views and great room.

the room was fine, but the management company said the owners had decided to close the Hot Tub This was very disappointing to go to a Ski Vacation and not have a Hot Tub when you get in of the evening. I will not stay at this condo again

the apartment is large with 2 bedrooms,2 bathrooms and a livingroom with kitchen. very clean and welcoming. the situation is great, close to shops, restaurants, and the free ski bus to beaver creek is just a minute away. the only mitigating point is the ordinary view , which gives on a place/parking for our apartment.
