Homewood Suites by Hilton Newark-Cranford

The room itself was impeccable but nowhere did it state there was a $250 security deposit. I paid more for the deposit than I did for the stay, which is just ridiculous to me. When I got there, no one was there to greet at the front desk and there was no bell. I was in limbo for like 5 minutes trying to check in.

Location is confusing and right on a quick turn before the freeway. The tub has rust and I could not even use it to take a bath so I ended up using the sink instead so I feel unsafe with it. The rest of the rooms are OK but parking is terrible. One big thing about this place is the food provided on breakfast Which I felt it is rust at all times. Not to put employees out of a job, but the one that tends to the morning breakfast seems to have an attitude at all times, even though she helped me with getting an orange juice almost at the closing time for breakfast. She however, never smiled or provided the service. It been so simple for a public service provider as I know how things can be as I have work these types of jobs in lower and reaching to the high top by just a quick point that hopefully they will learn that customer service still matters even simple smiler what can I do for you And all of us have problems in our lives and we should not take it to work or take problems for work to home, but that’s their business and we respect that but hopefully amenities will improve and all equipment need to be checked. It’s just disgusting to see rust on the Tub area as this can be alleviated by a replacement cleaning, etc..

I was told that I requested a handicap assessable room when I reserved the room but I never requested this. During check in I was told I had to take the room because all rooms were sold out and it was booking.com fault. I will not be booking any more rooms on your site if this is true?

Not enough parking, poor customer service- front desk evening guy was always on cell phone, not enough food for people at breakfast, ran out of just about everything, coffee was terrible

I enjoyed the hotel but there are no restaurants near by

They ran out of breakfast by 8:15 .

Good location for where I was visiting.
