I was surprised when I arrived and wasn’t offered any help by staff to carry items or get a bell cart, as a single mom with my 9 yr old son with me. There was an event going on so the hotel was packed and it took 3 elevators to get to our floor. The room was nice and clean, one of the best hotel beds I’ve stayed in. We did bring our own pillows. I was shocked there was no water in the room and the tap water wasn’t drinkable. I can’t remember the last time I stayed in a hotel with zero water. The morning of check out I tried using the text system to request valet, then when that didn’t work tried calling. After spending 10 minutes with no success we went down and the valet attendant told me that they turn off the text/ phone request system when they are busy because it’s too much for them. This was super frustrating being that I paid $39 a night to not have to wait for my car. Overall it was ok, not great.

I have stayed at this property probably a dozen times prior. This stay I noticed a few things that bugged me. Coffee pods are provided, but the only bottled water to make coffee with will cost you six bucks! No upgrade for my Bonvoy tier status. $25 destination fee? Wife needed a makeup mirror- None in the bathroom. Only one food option, and it is the bar. The good things- Early check in was nice. Front desk friendly. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. Valet was fast. I have to say that I split stays between this Marriott and the Westin down the street. ( Which cost less points) And I think the Westin is a better stay. At least water is provided for the darn coffee machine!

The front desk personnel were awesome and very friendly. The room was very nice and comfortable. The buffet breakfast was very good.
