Fairfield Inn by Marriott Toronto Oakville

This is an older property and not yet renovated at the time of my stay. I changed rooms 3 times as the first one had a rattling ventilator in the bathroom, the second room smelled like cigarette smoke and the third one finally was in good condition. I have to say that the front desk staff was very accommodating and friendly throughout the process of finding the third room and the stay was good in the end. The breakfast is continental offering and generally good. What I found a bit sad that they only had plastic cutlery and paper plates. That seemed so wasteful. At least regular cutlery would be nice and more environmentally friendly. All in all it was a good stay with potential for improvement.

The property was clean and well lit up at night…easy to get to and good parking

Room was spotless and they supplied all the basic shower and bath needs as well as complimentary bottles of water. The beds were super comfortable and the pillows were of the highest quality I've seen recently. The free continental breakfast was absolutely the best continental breakfast I have ever eaten anywhere. This is an excellent Hotel and I would recommend it to everyone.

Owner left air conditioner off to save money. It took many many hours and sleeplessness until the room finally started cooling did honor request to change in the middle of the night(after a long flight)
