Omni Corpus Christi Hotel

I requested days ahead before our arrival the request of Chocolate covered Strawberries to be in the room when we arrived. The strawberries were were not in the room. It was our 15 year Anniversary and I wanted these for my wife. The front desk told me that ammenities were not able to be filled until after 4pm. I was never aware of this. I canceled the order and the front desk said they will cancel the order. At about 5pm, room service arrived with the strawberries and I was still charged for them. The room was also dirty and mold was seen on bathroom light fixtures. The ice tray had dirt and mold on it as well.

The layout, the staff was great in taking care of us and the dining in was great. The food was hot and well served.

A womens shop would be nice.

We chose the Omni for a special couple getaway. We were seeking some alone time with peace and tranquility. The room was very nice and comfortable. We had dinner at Switchgrass Landing and ordered appetizers which were excellent, but the entree needed attention. Staff was slow to attend our table, but the atmosphere and view of the bay was nice. Around 8pm we decided to enjoy some time at the hot tub and was interrupted and cut short due to unsupervised children running to and from the pool to the hot tub landing on my feet several times. I contacted front desk to address the issue but assistance to the issue was not addressed while we were there. The overall stay was nice, the room was nice and comfortable. But would have been much more enjoyable.

I felt could be improved was the bed size. I believe the rooms would be more comfortable if they had two queen-size beds instead of two full-size beds. Having a comfortable and restful night's sleep is important, and larger beds would help enhance the overall guest experience.
