Big room with comfy beds, very dog friendly. Lovely staff and shuttle. Sauna and pool amazing

Hot tub jets not working, didn’t tell us prior to visit.

Check-in was quite seamless, the room was comfortable, kitchen was adequate. The location is quite good for ski access - about 400m or so walk up the hill and you're at the gondola.

It's a bit of a run-down place and didn't feel that clean in the common areas. The room was much better in this regard though. TV is an old one so no netflix, youtube, etc. The hotel is close to the main road junction so there's a bit of road noise at busy times but it didn't really come through into the room or impact sleep. The hot tubs were available but the bubbles weren't working so we decided to skip it - hope they fix that soon. Arrival experience could have been better. They do have a van that does trips up and down the hill during the day to save people having to haul ski gear up and down. However, this service doesn't extend just 400m further to the bus stop area. So when we arrived in town by shuttle we couldn't get a cab because apparently 800m is too close so we had to walk our suitcases to Tantalus. I don't understand why the hotel couldn't just do a pickup from the bus stop. The best they could do was pickup from the Westin, which was like half way there and we didn't feel like waiting around for the van so we just carried on all the way down the hill to the hotel. It was fine as it hadn't snowed recently but if conditions were icy it would have really bad. Tantalus needs to think harder about the arrival experience - they're letting themselves down right now. The laundry was a terrible experience. The machines are hooked up to an app which is rubbish if you're from overseas. The SMS verification doesn't come through so you can't add credit and so you can't run the machine. The person at reception was kind enough to use her own number for the SMS verification in our app. Then the instructions in the app are unclear. It was a debacle, but thankfully we persisted and did manage to get our laundry done in the end.

Warm, good size space for 4, very comfy beds, all kitchen facilities, heated pool, sauna and hot tubs with towels, shuttle bus, being able to use facilities after checking out - thank you. Also big thanks to Matthew - made our morning with weather, ski and local information.

Nothing to not like. Furniture and oven a bit dated.

Very lovely 2 bed place! Great facilities in the room! Full kitchen! Comfortable beds!

Would have been nice to have some staples like oil, milk herbs and other cooking supplies.
