Pensacola Suites Hotel

Loved the 2 bedroom suite! Loved that it had a full kitchen and 2 bathrooms!

Soon as we arrived I noticed what looked like blood splatters on the side of the couch. Then I noticed there was no pillows on all 3 beds and when the person brought some to the room he knocked quickly a couple times then came right in after I told him hold on cause I was dressing my toddler after a bath. After that I realized all the shampoo, conditioner, body wash bottles was empty in both bathrooms. There wasn’t much of a breakfast selection. Also before checkout another worker knocked once and walked in! Absolutely no privacy! I don’t think it was worth the money.

I was expecting more for breakfast. But I loved the bagels❤️ everything was still good and fresh.

The towel exchange. I didn't know that we had to ask for more towels, after we put out the old ones. Also there wasn't any dishes in the rooms. But thats small, everything was still perfect.

Breakfast was fine. Typical hotel lobby fare. Property just changed brands and as I understand, will be getting a well deserved makeover this year.

Location

The hotel was under renovation and doesn't say that when booking. They had a crew working until the evening on a Saturday and early Sunday making it impossible to get any rest. Also the kitchen didn't have any pots, pans. Plates or utensils. No paper towels either. Notified front desk they said they didn't have any. Also there seemed to be what looked like pet hair all over the room.

The staff is the only reason that I would stay here again.. most of the staff were truly helpful and pleasant and went out of their way to be helpful..Ms.Anita at the front desk is the perfect person to meet and greet guests. Even the maintenance man (I did not get his name, was truly helpful and quick to respond and make adjustments best he could whenever needed. The coffee station in the lobby was good, and kept very clean with fresh apples available. The location was key, and is right next to the Pensacola airport, and a large mall.

In all honesty they should probably close down while they renovate. The Wi-Fi did not work most of the time, the computers are down in the room where they have them,and you can tell housekeeping never goes in there as the chairs and table had a thick layer of dust on them, and nothing worked. The shuttle is nonexistent even though it is still on the website as available. .There was no kind of breakfast at all except on Saturday and Sunday, when muffins and bagels were provided. But during the week, you were only provided the regular coffee /tea/HC set-uo(no canister of water however). I think the pool is closed although I was told it was open when I asked, but the gate was locked,so I’m not sure.(It was 70-75 a few days). Finally,the noise from the construction being done began at 8 AM the first two mornings. Anita at the front desk was so helpful in trying to find me another room and even letting me check for noise level, but the noise was still evident so I just stayed where I was. It was better after the first day and then stopped..
