"Nice hotel but my bed was not good"

Overall I would have given this stay 5 out of 5 except my bed was very uncomfortable and getting a good nights sleep is the most important thing at any hotel. I usually am pleased with the bed in any Marriott family property and even purchased a Westin mattress for my home, which is why I was surprised at the bed I got in room 407. Not only was the mattress lumpy, but the foot of the bed was slightly higher than the head, so I was sleeping uphill, which doesn’t sound like a big deal until you do it. Otherwise, I liked the hotel. You can tell it is recently renovated. The shower was excellent. I had breakfast in their Bistro and the service there was excellent food arrived quickly. Also appreciated the little amenity bag I received for my Bonvoy status with a couple waters and some snacks. I would actually try this hotel again in hopes that I just got a room with a subpar bed and not all the rooms are the same
