Travelodge by Wyndham Bay Shore Long Island

The bed was stiff

turned on the lights before i fell asleep woke up to a roach crawling towards my bed. got up and killed it and started to look around the room. found about 5-6 roaches in total 2 that i killed 4 that a were already dead in different parts of the room. it was late at night and i was exhausted did not want to have to go through the hassle of going to front desk to switch rooms etc. i immediately checked my bags and put them in my car as not to bring anything home. went the following morning to front desk and was met with an attitude and basically blown off. i stayed in room 105 .

Room very clean. Was only there to get ready for a family party and sleep. Shower door did not close. Air conditioner set at 60 degrees in October, I was not able to adjust the temp. I froze. Employees were very nice.

Toilet ran. Stains on the bedding. Stains on the towels. Tv didn’t work. Bathroom so cramped you hit the sink with your shoulder while sitting. Bed was very uncomfortable. I was happy to check out in the morning, and will stay elsewhere the next time I visit Long Island.

Dirty filthy water leaking too expensive. Old and decrepit. Slept On top of covers. Everything falling apart. Want my $ back.

great for the price

The room was big and clean…could use some repairs..but overall clean..tv with hbo..refrigerator microwave and comfortable definitely not the Four Seasons but felt safe and clean ✌️❤️

We have no words to accurately describe how disgusting and unsafe this place was. We have never written a review before, but felt the need to warn anyone looking into staying here. There was a great selection of black and green mold all over the bathroom, holes in the wall, peeling wallpaper everywhere, bathroom lights didn't work nor did the door shut, stains on the sheets and carpet with some colorful streaks of who knows what on the walls ....all for a lovely price of $200.00. And that was just the inside. At check in there's some bullet proof glass, vomit in the outside hallway, and we even saw a couple of working girls, all included in the $200.00 price tag. We have stayed in a lot of places, take vacations/long weekends every other month, this is the only time our 12 year old son has ever said he hasn't felt safe enough to sleep somewhere.

The newly renevated rooms must have been elsewhere unless you count the doorframe being nailed back to the wall as renevation. The used condom on the floor was a nice touch.

It was cozy and relaxing, enjoyed my stay, would definitely go back.
