Travelodge by Wyndham Bay Shore Long Island

Stayed here just for sleeping. In at Midnight, was out by 7am....the room reeked of smoke....the matress upon first glance looked like a nightmare with a big crater in the middle....For some lucky reason, it agreed with my back though and I slept decently.....place did the trick, but was also grossly overpriced for what it was....I'd stay here again, if I 'had' to, but would actively seek alternate arrangements next time around....

The property was closed to major highways and stores. I would stay there again.

Shower was clogged. They came and plunged it. Room was smoking but it smelled horrible. The blankets are itchy wool fireproof prison blankets. No one was in the breakfast/checkin area with 4 chairs but when I wanted some juice before I left there was no apple. He told me oh well there is oj. No muffins . Just a waffle machine. Nothing else. Scratchy towels. Was not newly renovated. There was a brown smear in the bathroom and a dead bug. The toilet paper was soaked in something green. The bed was broken. Phone had no cord, therefore did not work

Nothing unique. An older property that could use some updating but everything worked and the room and bath were clean.. I was not dissatisfied.

It was good, remodel and very clean. Location was good and close to things.

Hotel was overpriced. All the other hotels we stayed at (some 'top end') weren't as expensive as this Travelodge. Small rooms and very small bathroom. No swimming pool and small breakfast area. The only reason why we stayed here was because it was the closest to Bay Shore town centre.

What a dump!! When I pulled up to check-in, there was a police car just outside the front desk area interviewing someone.... did not bode well. Everything about the place was in keeping with that introductory image.

The place is clean and smell clean it chap thank goodness Beautiful flowers Nick the general manager he works very well with all the customer he is a prince breakfast is stale but next door is bagel boss Frienze am Italian pizza and lunch and dinner is very good
