The Berry Hill Resort & Conference Center

Randomly booked this on Expedia when I took the family to a race at the Speedway. Everything else was booked and this popped up as an option. It was a short drive away. BEAUTIFUL resort! We had the dog with us, but the whole family was pleased with how amazing this place was. I've been in VA my whole life, but have never made my way down to this area. Absolutely gorgeous grounds. There was a wedding party the night we arrived, but the hotel was serene and quiet, I'd come back to the area just to stay at the resort! I really wish we had a day or two to enjoy it. We checked-in late and left early, but it looked beautiful. Nice bar/restaurant (just walked through), bu the pool looked nice too. I think we lucked out with the random booking. I'm giving it 5 stars for what we were expecting. Only negative was the dated TV w/ analog signal that was a little wobbly. Really not worth the mention for the price, but we were only there for a few hours before leaving for kids travel sports early in the morning. Would defintely book again for a longer duration! Two thumbs up!

The rooms were very nice and clean. The property is beautiful and many hiking trails if you like to hike. We toured the mansion and walked the grounds. Nice weekend getaway.

Beautiful resort. The history and old Plantation worth the stay! Spa was amazing! Good food options and awesome rooms.

Was in town for a car race. Location was no far from the track. Only stayed one night but plan on visiting again soon

I had to travel to the area for business and really struggled to find a local hotel. Stumbled upon Berry Hill. A historic property with a lot of amenities. Quiet and conducive to work and rest. Set back on an old plantation, it is remote but I felt very safe and much safer than other local hotels appeared. Decor is period. A little worn but expected for a historical venue. If I come back this way I would definitely stay again. I squeezed in time for a manicure and pedicure. Very nice setting and staff.

What a beautiful place. Picturesque and peaceful. Will come again and again The room was decorated nicely, bed was comfortable and the balcony was a bonus. We walked around and took in the many amenities but were not able to use them (time didn’t allow). Overall GREAT place to be!

We stay at Berry Hill Resort several times a year and appreciate the elegance, adherence to historical significance and superior service and restaurants. We’ve never had any experience other than perfect until this stay. We were in a lovely suite in the mansion which was superb. However, the shower had no hot water which made bathing impossible. We were there two nights for my 53rd high school reunion so the loss of showing was significant. We reported the problem to the desk attendant but no repair person took care of the problem. While this dampened our joy this trip, we will continue to stay Berry Hill because everything is usually perfect.
