"Impressive"

Well maintained property with a lot of character. Can't compliment the landscaping and lobby interiors enough. Food at the restaurant was top notch! We had dinner and breakfast and it was absolutely fantastic - world class quality. The property is aged but it is impeccably kept - takes a lot of effort to do so. Kudos to the management and the staff. Will be back when next in Nizwa.

We stayed during the Masarrat depression and access to the hotel was affected due to road on one side paving in and from the other side a wadi flowing but managed to drive through when the water level decreased. Rain water leaked through the patio door but it wasn't that bad.

"Schönes Hotel mit großem Pool in ruhigem Umfeld"

Das Hotel liegt zwar etwas außerhalb von Nizwa, aber dafür ist es ruhig und die Altstadt und auch gute Restaurants sind in 10 - 15 Minuten per Auto einfach zu erreichen. Es hat einen großen Parkplatz direkt vor der Haustür. Das Personal ist überaus zuvorkommend und freundlich, die Zimmer sind groß und ansprechend eingerichtet. Das Bad ist bequem und alles, was man braucht, steht zur Verfügung. Der Pool ist das Highlight inmitten einer gepflegten Grünanlage und wurde von uns früh morgens und nach unseren Ausflügen abends genutzt. Das Wasser ist wunderbar erfrischend und sauber. Wir haben diese Auszeiten sehr genossen. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und es gibt Eierspeisen nach Wahl sowie frisches Obst. Alles in allem ein sehr guter Standort mit großem Pool zum Entspannen und zur Erfrischung für das Gebiet um Nizwa.

"A peaceful stay in a scenic natural setting"

The hotel is located on the outskirts of Nizwa, which is not an issue if you have a car, and taxis are also readily available in Oman. The traditionally decorated hotel offers spacious grounds and a good range of facilities, including a fitness centre, restaurant, bar, large swimming pool, and entertainment for children. The rooms are generously sized, and the beds are very comfortable. The hotel’s greatest asset is its staff, who are welcoming, helpful, caring, and attentive - no request seems too much for them. Overall, our stay was comfortable and we would highly recommend this hotel for those seeking a peaceful stay in a scenic natural setting while visiting Nizwa.

Although the building itself is slightly dated, it is extremely well kept, so no negatives whatsoever.

The vibe of the place. The greenery.

Staff at the reception were not very welcoming except for one young Omani man. The room service had limited options and no kids menu!
